The Uttarakhand State Warehousing Corporation (UKSWC) is committed to providing modern, scientific, and secure warehousing services across the State. Established under the Warehousing Corporations Act, 1962, the Corporation plays a vital role in strengthening agricultural infrastructure and supporting food security in Uttarakhand.
Our Infrastructure :
The Corporation operates 14 warehouse locations across Uttarakhand with a total storage capacity of 1,311,550 Metric Tonnes (MT). These strategically located warehouses enable efficient storage, preservation, and distribution of agricultural and notified commodities throughout the State.
Our Warehousing Services :
1. Scientific Storage Facilities
We operate well-maintained warehouses designed for the safe storage of food grains, seeds, fertilizers, agricultural produce, and other notified commodities. All storage is carried out using scientific methods to preserve quality and minimize losses.
2. Pest Control & Fumigation
Regular inspection, preventive pest control treatments, and scientific fumigation are conducted within our own warehouses to safeguard stored commodities from insects, rodents, and other storage pests.
3. Quality Preservation
Our facilities ensure proper stacking, ventilation, moisture control, and strict hygiene standards to maintain the quality and longevity of stored goods.
4. Logistics & Handling Support
We provide systematic loading, unloading, and handling services to ensure smooth movement of commodities to and from our warehouses.
5. Support to Government & Agencies
The Corporation acts as an authorized agency for storage, procurement support, and distribution on behalf of Government departments, public sector undertakings, and statutory bodies.
