Uttarakhand State Warehousing Corporation (UKSWC) is a statutory organization established by the Government of Uttarakhand under the provisions of the Warehousing Corporations Act 1962 (formerly the Agricultural Produce (Development and Warehousing) Corporations Act, 1956).
The Corporation operates as a joint venture between the State Government and the Central Warehousing Corporation, both serving as shareholders. UKSWC plays a pivotal role in strengthening agricultural infrastructure, ensuring scientific storage, and supporting farmers, traders, and government agencies across the state.
Infrastructure Development :
1- Acquire and construct godowns and warehouses at strategic locations within the State in consultation with the Central Warehousing Corporation.
2- Develop modern storage facilities equipped with scientific preservation systems.
Storage Services :
Operate warehouses for the safe storage of:
1- Agricultural produce
2- Seeds
3- Manures and fertilizers
4- Agricultural implements
5- Notified commodities
6- Food grains and allied products
7- Food grains and allied products

Administrative Structure :
Approved posts under the administrative structure of corporation organization on headquarters level are Managing Director, Deputy Managing Director, Secretary, General Manager, Manager, Deputy Manager etc.. 01 Regional Office and 14 Warehouse are active on Regional Office level. Regional Manager and other staffs are posted in every Regional Office and Warehouse Incharge and other staffs are posted at Warehouses.
Management :
Management and general observation of the corporation is vested in the Board of Directors. Five Directors are nominated by Central Warehousing Corporation in the Board of Director from which nomination of one Director on the recommendation of State Bank of India and at least one Director non-governmental has been provided. Five Directors are nominated by State Government, from which one is being appointed on the post of Chairman. Appointments of President and Managing Director by the State Government have been provisioned under giving information to Central Warehousing Corporation.
